I give a free consultation with every groom so i can learn as much as possible about your dogs behaviour and their needs.

As i specialise in individual appointments my grooming studio is much more relaxed & quiet than the busy high street grooming parlour. I am able to give your little pup all my attention and make this experience as stress free as possible, making it fun & pleasurable. As there is no waiting around in cages for their turn, your pet will be constantly handled by myself during the whole session. Your pet determines the speed & pace of the groom & handled gently at all times.

Generally speaking most dogs are well behaved whilst being groomed and some even enjoy it!!

However not every dog does enjoy being groomed and this can sometimes cause unwanted bad behaviour. In some circumstances i can always muzzle your dog as a very last resort & as a precaution. ( muzzling a dog can calm them down).

But in some situations muzzling a dog is not an option as some dogs can become even more distressed. If this is the case i would be unable to continue with your dogs groom & would contact you immediately.

I may then suggest that you stay with your dog as he/she may feel more comfortable & confident with their owner nearby. If your dog still showed resistance i would then try to give you as much help & advice as to where & how you could have your dog groomed.
